Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina. Raleigh is the second-fastest-growing metro area in the country. It’s home to Research Triangle Park, the largest research park in the country. Raleigh has a thriving economy, especially in the technology, healthcare, and education fields. The city boasts North Carolina State University and close proximity to Duke University and The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, all Tier 1 universities. WakeMed, UNC Health Care, and Duke Health are three major medical centers and the city will soon be home to one of Apple’s campuses. Raleigh offers museums, festivals, sporting events, including the Carolina Hurricanes, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, and Pullen Park. You’ll also find a thriving downtown scene with tons of eateries.
